Chyawanprash is a legendary Ayurvedic jam-like preparation made from over 40 herbs and spices, with Amalaki (Indian Gooseberry) as its base. It is one of the oldest and most revered Rasayanas (rejuvenatives) in Ayurveda, dating back over 2,500 years. Rich in bioavailable Vitamin C from Amalaki, Chyawanprash is traditionally consumed daily to strengthen Ojas — the subtle essence of immunity and vitality. Research suggests Amalaki has significant antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and adaptogenic properties. This is not a remedy to make from scratch but rather guidance on how to use this traditional preparation.
